ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A Michigan native, Charles F. Pletcher is a new author, currently living in Central Florida where he writes a news column for a regional daily paper. A former president of a local creative writer’s group, Charlie recently published two books: THE PRAYER MEETING GUISE, a mystery/suspense novel and NARRATIONS IN A NUTSHELL, an anthology of short and shorter stories with a few silly poems thrown in.
In 2013/14, Mr. Pletcher won four competitive writing awards for three short stories and the first chapter of his current novel.
As a consultant to major industry, he also published several instructional manuals, including:
SO YOU WANT TO BE IN BUSINESS, BLUEPRINT FOR JOB CHANGE and PROFESSIONAL GUIDE TO LIFE AND CAREER PLANNING.
A frequent guest speaker on Writing Techniques, Charlie is working on his next novel: UNION DRIVES a love story.
